This program includes six academic courses, and aims to increase the capacity of Palestinian students and the Palestinian society (both public and private sectors) with state-of-the-art knowledge for building and deploying e-government services. These courses are split into three main thematic areas, as follows:
- Interoperability Area (4 tutorials, target trainees are IT people).
- Information Security Area (1 tutorial, target trainees are IT people).
- Legal Informatics Area (1 tutorial target trainees are law and IT people).
To provide maximum knowledge, these tutorials are designed to be followed by people with at least a 4-year degree in Information Technology or a three year degree in Computer Science, and with good practical skills and knowledge in databases, Java and UML, networking protocols and Web Programming. People with a 4-year degree in law can follow the legal informatics tutorial. Lectures will be the main delivery methodology, home work and case study also will be used.
