Ali Salhi demonstrated “Wojood: A Multi-Lingual Search Engine” during the IT expo held at Birzeit University. WOJOOD is an intelligent multilingual web search engine that focuses on Arabic. WOJOOD is concerned with building a well structured information retrieval system to help people find and manage Arabic web information they need in a minimum time. In doing so, WOJOOD depends on a group of powerful natural language processing methods that guarantee the best search results in Arabic documents.
