SIERA partners (BZU & UNIMIB) conducted a meeting in Palestine (18/6/2013) , which was dedicated to discuss the final drafts of the needs assessment and R&D strategy of BZU Sina Institute, in particular highlighting the needs of the regional and EU societies in the area of Arabic/multilingual and multicultural knowledge sharing technologies.
Discussions were made focusing on comparing and assessing several resultant dimensions including the state-of-art and trends, potential opportunities of international (EU) Cooperation, limited resources of BZU Sina and gender issues. Areas requiring further elaboration or revision, in order to set the final measures to complete and formulate a final R&D strategy of BZU, were specified. Consequently, deadlines, specification of further related tasks and other issues were agreed upon by BZU and UNIMIB to lead to finalization of the R&D strategy.
