PalGov Team visited TrueTrust Ltd, UK, as part of PalGov activities. The visit lasted 11 days (from 18/1/2011 to 29/1/2011) in which the participants took part in extensive work comprising security-related discussions, attending lectures as professors at Kent University and TrueTrust Ltd. presented the courses and exercises in relation to security. The visit also included practical sessions about security related protocols, methods, and techniques. The visit activities aimed to transfer knowledge and know-how of the TrueTrust Ltd on information security, authentication and cryptography, risk management and security policies in order to help specify the tutorials and courses related to Security.
The visit promotes a promising cooperation between the visiting and the host professors, which intends to increase the awareness in information security within the Palestinian society and to build more related courses and tutorials in the future.
